Public’s assistance needed in hit and run case
Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a hit and run incident.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, officers responded to a report of a collision on 94 Avenue, in the Highland Park neighbourhood.
Witnesses told officers that a white SUV, possibly a Jeep, crashed into a parked, unoccupied, black Nissan SUV, causing significant damage to the vehicle. The white SUV, which RCMP suspect is damaged on the front drivers side, fled the scene before officers arrived on the scene.
The Grande Prairie RCMP is asking for any witnesses or anyone with information related to the collision, or the white SUV and its driver, to contact them at 780-830-5701. Anonymous tips can also be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
