Police find 33 grams of coke and close to 43 grams of meth after traffic stop

Three people from Dawson Creek are facing charges after police found drugs and a gun after a traffic stop in Grande Prairie.

On March 3, RCMP pulled over a vehicle in the area of 100 Street and 94 Avenue where they found close to 33 grams of cocaine, 43.2 grams of methamphetamine and a loaded sawed-off shotgun.

The following people are facing charges:

Twenty-five-year-old Tyler Kisch, 27-year-old Kaylie Tompkins, and 25-year-old Darcy Belcourt are facing charges.

All three appeared in person in Grande Prairie court Monday.

They are facing two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and five charges related to firearms.
 
Tompkins is also facing two fail to comply counts.
 
She has been released on $200 cash bail, the other two were already on recognizance.
 
All three are due back in court on March 25.
