50/50 day for GPRC sports teams on Saturday

It was a great day for GPRC men’s sports teams.

Men’s basketball beat Lakeland 89-84 in overtime, as Liam O’Hallahan led the way with 27 points while Manny Iloka poured in 21 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, Men’s volleyball picked up a 3-1 win at home over Lakeland (25-23, 26-24, 18-25. 29-27), as both Ryan Schwindt (13 kills, 1 block, 1 service ace) and Ethan Nashim (10 kills, 3 blocks, 2 service aces) recorded 15 points for the Wolves.

The news was not as good though for the women’s teams from GPRC.

Megan Fowler had 9 points (9 kills) to led the women’s volleyball team as they fell 3-0 at home to Lakeland ((25-23, 25-18, 25-20).

On the hard court, Lakeland beat the GPRC women 75-47, as Sophie Leslie had 13 points for the Wolves while Jayden Demchuk added 12.
