Feb 5, 2020 | 10:35 AM

In a list created by Amazon Canada, the City of Grande Prairie has been ranked seventh among the most romantic cities in Canada for 2020.

This year’s rankings continue Grande Prairie’s rise on the list. Two years ago they ranked 15, and in 2019 they were ranked 11. The Swan City ranked fourth back in 2017.

The eleventh annual ranking was compiled by comparing sales data from January 1, 2019 to January 1, 2020 on a per capita basis in cities with more than 20,000 residents.

The data looks at purchases of romance novels, romantic comedies, relationship books, jewelry and sexual wellness products.

After seven straight years at number one, Victoria fell all the way to number 10 on the list.
