City launches new online recreation registration system

The City of Grande Prairie is replacing it’s current eConnect service with a new and improved online registration system for recreational programs, services, rentals, memberships and more.

Users will see small changes for in-person transactions, and, starting February 18, online transactions will be fully available.

The new system will also allow users to register and pay for programs online; manage and track accounts, activities and schedules; keep track of past activities; search for activities by keyword, date or location; and see up to date availability for facilities and programs, allowing for immediate reservations.

The new recreation management software works systematically with the City’s website, making it easier for users to book or buy programs, rental spaces, memberships and more through a user friendly online system.

The system replaces the City’s eConnect system, whose services are no longer available. All accounts are being automatically transferred to the new online registration system. Those accounts will receive an email containing the new registration login details.

New users can now create an account on the new registration system. All program registrations will open on February 18.
