Milot-Ouellet commits to hometown UQTR
Vincent Milot-Ouellet is heading back home.
The 20-year-old Storm forward has committed to the Universite du Quebec a Trois Rivieres for the 2019-2020 season.
Milot-Ouellet, who hails from Trois-Rivieres, is in his first and only season with the Storm, currently leading the team with 58 points (24 goals, 34 assists) in 54 games this season. He had spent the previous three seasons of his junior hockey career in the QMJHL, playing for both Gatineau and Chicoutimi.
“I’m very excited to be going back to Trois-Rivieres after playing 4 years away from home. I cannot wait to start this new chapter in my hockey career playing in front of friends & family at UQTR,” said Milot-Ouellet in a press release. “My short time in Grande Prairie led to the best season in my junior career and I’ve met amazing people. My teammates have been tremendous and are a large part of my success on and off the ice. I’ve had the time of my life here, I wish I would have come here earlier in my career.”
