Beaverlodge RCMP are warning the public to be safe on the roads, following an investigation into three vehicles in a ditch on Highway 43 near the Demmit Scales.

RCMP and emergency crews attended the scene at 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Some occupants were taken to hospital, all with minor injuries.

The RCMP warn that the stretch of Highway 43 near the Demmit Scales, approximately 15 kilometres east of the British Columbia border, is very icy, and there is reduced visibility due to blowing snow.
