The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is investigating after the arrest of a man led to him being hospitalized.
A release from the province says at around 7 p.m. on March 26, the Lakeshore Regional Police Service was called to a disturbance at Sucker Creek First Nation. High Prairie RCMP were called in to help.
A struggle started when the 20-year-old suspect was being arrested and a Taser was used.
The man went into what the release describes as “medical distress” and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
