Family friendly Easter activities in and around Grande Prairie

There are a number of activities happening in and around Grande Prairie this Easter weekend.

At Muskoseepi Park is Eggstravaganza says spokesperson Carla Wells.

“We are going to be having lots of Easter fun, we have an Easter egg hunt, Easter tattoos, lots of games, cookie decorating and fun for kids ages two to 10.”

The cost is $5 per child and starts at noon Saturday.

In the county Saturday, the Beaverlodge Fire department is holding the 8th annual Easter event in the afternoon at the fire hall that includes a mini petting zoo.

EggCiting Easter is at Saskatoon Lake Community Hall Saturday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. There will also be an egg hunt and activities as well as a hot dog lunch.

Out at Nitehawk Year Round Adventure Park, the Easter Ski Bunny will hide eggs for kids to find for about an hour starting at 11:00 Sunday morning.
