May 22, 1953 – May 15, 2020

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rose Ann Knapp. After a long battle with cancer she passed away peacefully in her sleep at Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie at the age of 66 years.

She is survived by her son Adam Knapp; siblings Shirley (David) Markwart, Brenda (Robert) Lenes, Randy Knapp, Jackie (Ryan) Gardner, Bradley (Dana) Knapp, Leona (Mark) Sullivan; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.

Rose is predeceased by her parents Lena (Alin) Guay, Henry Knapp; siblings Stanley Knapp, Elizabeth Pratt, Johnny Knapp; nephew Gordon Link.

Rose’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the QEII and Prairie Lake Hospice for the care they gave. Donations may be made in Rose’s memory to the Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society at Unit 204, 10134 97 Ave Unit 206, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 7X6.
