Province won’t make COVID-19 vaccine mandatory: Kenney

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says the provincial government has no intention of making a COVID-19 vaccine mandatory if one becomes available.
The premier made the comment while answering questions during a Facebook livestream with Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Deena Hinshaw and members of cabinet.
Kenney says there’s been misinformation that the government recently adopted a law requiring mandatory vaccinations.
He says if a safe vaccine is developed and approved, his government would strongly encourage people to use it.
