GPRC to offer mixed delivery model for 2020-21 year

Jun 4, 2020 | 5:04 PM

Grande Prairie Regional College has announced that its upcoming fall semester will be offered through a mixed delivery model.

GPRC is currently finalizing its Relaunch Plan. The school has come up with two different scenarios for the upcoming semester.

If in-person classes cannot resume, the delivery model will feature remote delivery for most lecture and seminar course components and in-person delivery for labs and practicum courses.

If classes are allowed to resume on campus, the College says that this summer, classrooms, labs and studios will undergo retro-fitting and enhanced cleaning and sanitization practices, along with the adjustment to maximum capacities to follow AHS protocols.

The College says that it is committed to mitigating the risk and will adhere to all protocols, recommendations and guidelines laid out by the province.

They will also enforce the use of masks and physical distancing when face-to-face interaction is required, and distancing cannot be possible.

Details of the College’s full plan will be announced on the school’s website once finalized.
