Jun 19, 2020 | 4:57 PM

The County of Grande Prairie will be re-opening more municipal buildings next week.

The Administration, Community Services and Public Works buildings will open to the public on June 22, the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) office will open on June 29.

The County says that guidelines in line with Alberta Health Services (AHS) protocols will be in place, including having front reception areas limited to five people at a time in the Administration and Public Works buildings, a four person limit at the FCSS Office, and a three person limit at the Community Services Building.

Home Support Services are also scheduled to resume on June 29. Hand sanitizer will also be available for visitors, as well as plexiglass shields for staff and enhanced cleaning procedures.

The La Glace and Valhalla community libraries, operated by the County, will also open to the public on June 22. The Elmworth Community Library is scheduled to open later this summer once renovations are complete.

Campgrounds in the County are also at full capacity for individual and group campsites reservations, and washroom and showers are open at certain campgrounds. Updated information on campgrounds can be found here.
