Atco working to restore power in downtown area of Grande Prairie

UPDATE: 5:15 p.m The outage has been fixed. There are several smaller ones around the Peace Country that are impacting fewer than 10 customers each.

Atco Electric says it is working to restore power in the area of downtown Grande Prairie, after the power went out just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Atco says 4,267 customers are affected by the outage, adding that the estimated restoration is 3:30 p.m.
