Intersection improvements at Range Road 62, Highway 672 to begin Monday

Upgrades and improvements to Range Road 62 and Secondary Highway 672 intersection are to begin on Monday, June 29.
The County of Grande Prairie says that the improvements will include the construction of east and westbound bypass lanes on Secondary Highway 672, on both sides of Range Road 62 for about 200 metres. The work is to allow traffic turning off the highway a lane to slow down and will reduce the impact to traffic.
Minor delays may be expected during the project, which is expected to be completed in early August, depending on the weather.
Speed will be reduced in construction zones, and traffic may be reduced to a single alternating lane. Motorists are reminded to obey all signs, flag persons, and to exercise extreme caution when travelling through the site and near crews and equipment.
