Storm acquire Broadhurst and Howie from BCHL’s Capitals for Murphy-Johnson and future considerations
Grande Prairie Storm Head Coach and General Manager Mike Vandekamp continued his busy offseason on Monday.
The Storm traded defenceman Jackson Murphy-Johnson and future considerations to the Cowichan Capitals of the BCHL in exchange for forward Cole Broadhurst and defenceman Johnny Howie.
Broadhurst is 19 years old from Ladysmith, B.C. He registered 17 points in 56 games for the Capitals last season.
Howie is 18 years old and from Carp, Ontario. He had 7 points in 41 games for the Caps in 2019-20.
