Ruth Jane Peters, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Ruth was born in Fairview, AB on December 24, 1940 to Emil and Alvina Lemke. She married Morris Peters on November 4, 1961. They had two daughters, Shammie and Denise. Ruth enjoyed horse shows, playing cards, puzzles, gardening, and a few cocktails.

She is survived by her daughters Shammie (Rob) Ross and Denise (Dale) Collins; grandchildren: Hailee, Kolby, Taylor, Jaimee, and Lindsee; great-grandchildren: Saulomon, Scottie, Emry, Lucille, and Oliver; brothers: Henry, Norman, Leonard, and Elvin; and sisters Elvira and Nona.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents Emil and Alvina; husband Morris; brothers: Dennis, Bob, and Carl; and sister Anita.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
