Grande Prairie Grand Slam of Curling event postponed to September 2021
The Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event slated to hit the pebbled ice at the Coca-Cola Centre in November has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The news came down Wednesday morning, as Sportsnet (who owns and operates the tour) announced it was moving the restart of the six-stop tour to April of 2021 and trimming that down to just two events.
With that, the Tour Challenge, to be contested in the Swan City, will now go from September 21-26, 2021 at the Coca-Cola Centre as part of the 2021-22 season.
