Truck collides with numerous parked vehicles in Taber, suspect allegedly flees

TABER, AB – A multi-vehicle collision in Taber has resulted in several vehicles being damaged.

At approximately 3:40 am on Saturday, August 1, Taber Police and EMS were called to the intersection of Highway 3 and 52 Street.

The investigation revealed that an eastbound truck pulling a holiday trailer lost control and struck numerous parked vehicles.

Around $40,000 in damages were caused.

β€œThe driver had fled the scene, but was eventually located at Taber Hospital with minor injuries,” reads a media release from Taber Police.

Charges are pending against a 44-year-old man from Regina. Since charges have yet to be formally sworn in, his name is not being released at this time.

Officers are continuing to investigate.
