
Alberta adds 134 new COVID-19 cases, two new in Grande Prairie
After six straight days of reporting under 100 new cases of COVID-19, Alberta added 134 new cases on Thursday.
Active cases in the province now sit at 1,125, as total recoveries topped 10,000 on Thursday to reach 10,097.
There were three more deaths attributed to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, including another fatality in the Mackenzie County area, which has now had three deaths attributed to COVID-19. Alberta wide, the death toll now sits at 208.
In the Peace Region, there were two new cases identified in the City of Grande Prairie to move the active case total to 11. There was also a recovered case reclassified as an active case in the Big Lakes County area on Thursday.
