Alberta RCMP attend 178 crashes, hand out close to 2600 tickets on the long weekend

Alberta RCMP say they were called to 178 collisions over the Labour Day long weekend.
Of those 178 collisions, three people were killed.
Mounties say they also handed out 2592 traffic tickets and issued 412 warnings.
Of the tickets given out from Friday through Sunday, 1916 were for speeding and 46 were for distracted driving. Another 99 people were charged with impaired driving.
