Alberta Health Services is sending letters to 53 staff and students at a Calgary school who may have been exposed to tuberculosis.
Officials say the exposures were contained to the one school and the general public is not at risk.
It also says the risk of transmission is low to those who may have been exposed to TB.
Health officials are working to manage followup screening, which they say is routine with any potential exposure to infectious tuberculosis.
