Grande Prairie Storm coach and GM Mike Vandekamp has pulled off another trade with his former team.

The Storm have acquired forward Dan McIntyre from Cowichan of the BCHL in exchange for Nathan Morgan.

McIntyre, who turns 20 in November and hails from Almonte, Ontario, had 13 goals and 34 assists in 90 career games with the Capitals.

He was named the Capitals’ captain earlier in the week, and has also earned an NCAA scholarship to Cornell.

The 18 year old Morgan spent two seasons with the Storm, tallying 17 goals and 26 assists in 113 games played.

The Storm kick off their pre-season schedule this Friday night in Whitecourt against the Wolverines.

The two teams will also face-off the following night at Revolution Place in a 7 pm start.
