County of Grande Prairie put on provincial COVID-19 watch status
The County of Grande Prairie has sent out a statement from Reeve Leanne Beaupre as the County has now been placed under a provincial watch status for COVID-19.
This status is put in place once a municipality passes the 50 cases per 100,000 people threshold.
The watch status also includes the Village of Hythe and the Towns of Beaverlodge, Wembley and Sexsmith as any communities with fewer than 10,000 people are included.
The County area currently has 19 active cases, while another 67 people have recovered.
