Six new COVID-19 cases in Grande Prairie, seven recoveries
The City of Grande Prairie added six new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, while there were 477 new cases in Alberta on October 28.
There were also seven more recoveries on Wednesday, bringing the City’s active case total down to 92. The County of Grande Prairie also added two new cases while reporting three recoveries, where there are now 18 active cases.
Updated case totals among Peace Region municipalities as of the end of day October 28 are as follows:
- City of Grande Prairie: 261 cases (92 active, 167 recovered, two deaths)
- County of Grande Prairie: 90 cases (18 active, 72 recovered)
- M.D. of Greenview: 23 cases (six active, 16 recovered, one death)
- Birch Hills County: Five cases (all recovered)
- M.D. of Spirit River: 27 cases (six active, 21 recovered)
- Saddle Hills County: Four cases (one active, three recovered)
- M.D. of Smoky River: 76 cases (one active, 65 recovered, ten deaths)
- Big Lakes County: 53 cases (one active, 47 recovered, five deaths)
- M.D. of Lesser Slave River: 23 cases (four active, 18 recovered, one death)
- M.D. of Peace: 36 cases (eight active, 28 recovered)
- M.D. of Fairview: 17 cases (one active, 16 recovered)
- Clear Hills County: 96 cases (two active, 93 recovered, one death)
- Northern Sunrise County: Nine cases (all recovered)
- County of Northern Lights: 59 cases (one active, 58 recovered)
- Mackenzie County: 414 cases (six active, 395 recovered, 13 deaths)
