One man has died after he was struck by a semi-tractor trailer along Highway 43, north of Fox Creek on Thursday evening.

Fox Creek RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle north of the town at around 7:30 p.m. on November 5. A preliminary investigation suggests the semi was travelling towards Fox Creek when it collided with the man, who was walking on the highway.

The 31-year-old pedestrian, a resident of Trout Lake, Alberta, was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was uninjured.

Police and an RCMP collision analyst continue to investigate the collision. All possible factors leading to the collision remain under investigation.
