Buttar clinches PBR Canada championship

Dakota Buttar was crowned 2020 PBR Canada champion Saturday night, as the Monster Energy Tour Finals Week wrapped up at Revolution Place.

After getting bucked off and recording a no score during the PBR Cooper Tires Classic, the Kindersley, Saskatchewan rider put up a score of 88 to win the PBR Built Ford Tough event.

That result also allowed him to clinch the national title, 240.17 points ahead of Ponoka’s Zane Lambert.

Buttar won 6 of the 15 events he took part in this season, and had a total of 10-top 5 finishes en oute to winning just over $48,0222 during the season.
