Nov 8, 2020 | 4:09 PM

Alberta added 727 new cases of COVID-19 for Saturday, November 7, while there were also six more deaths linked to the disease over the last 24 hours.

The death count for Saturday brings the province’s total to 363 since March. All of Saturday’s reported fatalities are from the Calgary and Edmonton Zone.

Technical issues with Alberta Health’s COVID-19 reporting system continue to lead to the inability to provide more detailed statistics, such as where the new cases are exactly located and the number of hospitalizations. The province says that data will be made available on Monday afternoon (November 9).

The list of outbreak sites has been updated however, where there are two more outbreaks listed in the Peace Region. Outbreaks how now been reported at the Norbord OSB Plant south of Grande Prairie, as well as a “sport cohort” in Fairview. More specific case numbers listed to those outbreak sites have not been disclosed to EverythingGP and we will provide those figures when they are made available.
