‘No government contracts’ for companies that don’t manufacture in U.S., Biden vows
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Joe Biden is doubling down on his promise to enforce Buy American policies once he becomes U.S. president in January.
Biden says no government contracts will be given to companies that don’t manufacture their products on American soil.
He says it’s all part of the incoming administration’s plan to pull the country out of a pandemic-induced economic crisis.
Biden made the remarks today just as the House of Commons unanimously passed a motion to invite him to address a joint session of Parliament.
