Two new COVID-19 cases in Grande Prairie, six more recoveries
Grande Prairie’s active COVID-19 case total dropped for a second straight day for Thursday, as there were two new cases and another six recoveries recorded for November 26.
There are now 72 active cases in the City of Grande Prairie, to go along with 385 recoveries and four deaths.
Two new outbreaks were also identified in the Swan City. Outbreaks were declared at the Rehoboth Christian Ministries Group Home and the Elders Caring Shelter Society.
There are currently 13 active cases at the Elders Caring Shelter Society. The outbreak at the Rehoboth Christian Ministries had seven cases, which are all now recovered. Alberta Health says that the reason for the delay in reporting this outbreak had to do with determining if cases were directly linked to the facility.
