Grande Prairie RCMP respond to “incident” on city’s north end

Grande Prairie RCMP say there is no concern for public safety at this time as they respond to what is being described as an incident that occurred earlier Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning.
RCMP issued a notification of a police presence near 100 Street and 132 Avenue just after 1 a.m. December 9, near the Petro Canada gas station. RCMP were still on scene shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday.
No other details have been provided. We will have more information when it is made available.
