Five vehicles damaged in fire at Grande Prairie Airport

The Grande Prairie Fire Department was called to the Grande Prairie Airport at around 3:38 a.m. Saturday morning after a report of a car fire in the long-term parking lot.

According to the Fire Department, the fire had spread to three vehicles by the time crews arrived.

In total five vehicles sustained damage, there were no injuries reported.

At this time, the Grande Prairie RCMP is assisting with notifying the owners of the vehicles.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
