Grande Prairie Salvation Army hoping for final drive of donations before Christmas
The Grande Prairie Salvation Army is hoping for one final drive of donations from the public before Christmas this Friday.
The Salvation Army says it has so far raised $434,000, which is short of its $500,000 goal.
The Kettle Campaign this year was met with many challenges because of COVID-19.
This year’s campaign was short of volunteers because of the COVID-19 threat and on December 11, the organization made the decision to remove volunteers from its kettle stations because of new restrictions implemented by the Alberta government.
