Grande Prairie adds 27 new COVID-19 cases, six recoveries
The Province of Alberta reported 1,183 new cases of COVID-19 for Thursday, January 7. There are now 13,628 active cases of COVID-19 province-wide.
The City of Grande Prairie added 27 new cases for Thursday, one of the largest single-day increases the city has seen since the pandemic began. There were also six recoveries. Currently, the Swan City has 149 active cases of COVID-19.
The County of Grande Prairie also saw a large increase in cases, as it recorded 12 new infections and saw three recoveries. There are 40 active cases in the County.
