Nominations open for 2021 Women of Influence Awards

The City of Grande Prairie is now accepting nominations for the 2021 Women of Influence Awards.

The awards are presented annually to recognize local women who have made a strong impact by promoting equality, provided opportunities for women in the community and helped break barriers in their field.

The awards are handed out in commemoration of International Women’s Day in March each year.

2020 Awards Recap: Community female leaders recognized at Women of Influence Awards luncheon

The three categories to nominate local woman in are: Trailblazing Woman of Influence, Distinguished Woman of Influence and Young Woman of Influence.

Nomination packages can be found here. All nominations must be submitted by February 15.

The award reception will happen virtually this year on March 5 from 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. The event will feature an awards ceremony and guest speaker.
