Census of Agriculture coming in 2021

Statistics Canada will be conducting the Census of Agriculture in May.

The data gathered is meant to help form policies and outreach ideas. It is also used to conduct market research.

The government says on the Statistics Canada website that it has made it faster and easier for the questionnaire to be completed online

The government adds the questions this year will be similar to the ones asked in 2016.

Those questions include how many paid hands worked on an operation, how much land it includes, and what crops it grows and products it produces.
