Surrounded by his loving family during his final days, Paul passed away on Saturday January 23, 2021, at the QEII hospital in Grande Prairie Alberta. After a long and courageous battle with dementia, he is now at peace and will join his parents and departed siblings in heaven. He was 68 years old.
Paul is predeceased by his parents Margaret and Edward Ozon, sisters Edwina and Sheila, brother Teddy and nephews (Little) Paul and Robert.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (nee Foster), and sons Matthew (Rami Chapman, Hali), Theo (Santana Park), Simon (Melany Gaube, Kaleb), Jesse, and two precious grandsons Jacob, and Levi. Also left to mourn are his siblings Anne Delahunty (Ed), Bob (Stella Doyle), Cecilia (Len Wells), Audrey, John (Sharon Kendall), Gene (Joanne Penson-Boucher), Joan Veitch, Gail Collins (Cyril), Mike (Christina Boland), Lynn Fewer (Barry), sister-in-law, Beverly Deveraux, brothers-in-law Bill Power and Gord Mundy. His passing leaves a large circle of relatives and friends heartbroken.
Pat and family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful staff on 3N at the QEII in Grande Prairie, for their hard work, dedication, and compassionate care. Thank you to the staff at Prairie Lake Seniors Community for their nurturing care and the comfortable environment for Paul and his visitors.
The family is thankful for all the love and support they received throughout Paul’s struggle with his disease and are especially grateful for the compassion and kindness of their dear friends, Riny and Jan VanSomeren, who were there with Paul and his family throughout this journey.
