High Prairie RCMP have laid charges against a Driftpile First Nations man following a break and enter at the High Prairie Peavey Mart early Monday morning.

Police say they were called to the store just after 5:30 a.m. on January 25. Upon arrival, authorities say the main gate to the yard had sustained damage, as had the fence and multiple snow-blowers.

Police say additional damage was caused to the front of the property after a vehicle had backed into it.

Damages are estimated to exceed $5,000.

Percy Quinton Campiou is now charged with break and enter to commit an indictable office and mischief over $5,000. He has been released on conditions to appear in High Prairie Provincial Court on February 22.
