June 7, 1971 – January 25, 2021
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Todd Andrew Tarrington, suddenly at home, in Grande Prairie, AB on January 25, 2021.
Todd was born in Cobourg, ON on June 7th, 1971. He was the youngest of five siblings. In time, when his Mom’s family grew he became the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. Todd lived a full life in Ontario and was deeply devoted to his ever-growing extended family.
Todds’s life was filled with love, laughter, and compassion. There was little he would not do for a loved one. He was the trusted phone call in the middle of the night to come to the rescue and the comforting hug when you were feeling down. Todd was the helping hand when you did not know you needed it, and even when you did.
Todd loved his work and his work family at EECOL Electric. Over the 13 years he was there, he laughed, loved, and cried with each of you. The stories he shared made his eyes light up and his voice smile. Yes, he said more than that “one word”.
Todd valued his many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, and all in his family. Todd was a dedicated and devoted father and he treasured his sons the most. Justin Tarrington (28), Dominik Jolivet (7), and the nephew who was more son than a nephew, Jeff Tarrington (35).
Todd was the light and anchor to all the lives he touched. He leaves a lifetime of memories and lessons, for all who knew him will be forever changed by him. Until we meet again, you remain forever 49 in our hearts.
