Grande Prairie RCMP inviting local community members to submit policing comments or concerns

Feb 5, 2021 | 6:11 PM

The Grande Prairie RCMP is inviting members of the community to submit any comments or concerns they may have about policing issues in the City of Grande Prairie, the Towns of Clairmont and Sexsmith, the Hamlets of Debolt, Grovedale, Ridgevalley and Crooked Creek, the MD of Greenview and the County of Grande Prairie.

Normally the RCMP will hold several town hall meetings, however, because of COVID-19 they’ll be taking information virtually or by mail this year.

Those interested in participating can do so by heading to this survey website or by mailing the Grande Prairie RCMP office at 10202-99 Street, Grande Prairie, AB T8V 2H4.

The mail and survey results will be collected from February 8 until February 19.

Supt. Sean Curry will then review all of the correspondence received.

Supt. Curry will release the data in March, identify trends from the feedback and respond to the community.

This feedback will also be utilized in his planning for the Grande Prairie Detachment’s Annual Performance Plan.
