City hosting additional weekend of family festivities in Muskoseepi

After having to adjust its plans over the past two weekends due to the extreme cold temperatures, the City of Grande Prairie is going to host an additional weekend of Family Festivities in the Park on both Saturday (Feb. 20) and Sunday (Feb. 21).

Those activities in Muskoseepi Park, include snow luging, tobogganing, skating, snow shoeing and free snowman kits. Free hot chocolate and snacks are being provided by New Horizon Co-op for participants.

Due to COVID-19 protocols, families from the same household must pre-register for any and all activities on either Saturday or Sunday. One-hour time slots are available, for free, on the city’s event website.
