Storm acquire pair from BCHL

The Grande Prairie Storm have acquired a pair of players from the Coquitlam Express of the BCHL.

The team has picked up 19-year-old goalie Joe Howe and 19-year-old defenceman Ian Devlin for future considerations,

Howe, who hails from Barrie, Ontario, played in a total of 31 games last season as a rookie with both the Express and the Victoria Grizzlies.

He has an NCAA scholarship to join Cornell in the fall of 2021.

Devlin had 9 goals and 22 points in 53 games last season with the St Michael’s Buzzers of the OJHL.

According to the Express website, Devlin will be returned to the Express at the end of the Storm’s season.
