2021 Wanham Plowing Match postponed

In what organizers call in a Facebook post “a very difficult decision”, the board of directors of the Wanham Plowing Match has announced that this year’s edition has been postponed.

It had been set for June 18-20. New dates have not been announced.

The post says the decision to postpone comes amid continued uncertainty over COVID-19.

The next edition of the Wanham Plowing Match will be the 50th.

Last year’s was cancelled, also because of the pandemic.

The post goes on to say that organizers “will be reaching out to our supporters in the coming weeks” and thanks everyone for understanding.
