Grande Prairie’s Jory Cabreros has won $306,129.60 through LOTTO MAX.

Cabreros, who won the January 22 draw, says he got emotional when he found out his ticket was a winner.

“I started crying,” he said. “It felt like all my prayers were being answered.”

Cabreros says he has a few plans on what to do with his winnings.

“Our big plan is to eventually build a house on our property in the Philippines,” he said. “But first I’ll pay down our mortgage and pay off some bills.”

Cabreros purchased the ticket at the Mobil gas station on 83 Ave in Grande Prairie.

He won LOTTO MAX’s second-highest prize by matching six out of the seven main draw numbers along with the bonus number.

He shared the prize with another LOTTO MAX ticket purchased in BC.
