Fay Elizabeth Knott, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Dawson Creek, BC, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 60 years.
She was born in Dawson Creek, on June 5, 1960, to Fred and Evelyn Knott.
Fay was very charismatic, fun, loving, a social butterfly who loved to laugh and always brought smiles to everyone’s face.
She loved playing cards, gathering with family, dancing, driving, loved listening to music, but most importantly, spending quality time with her grandson.
Fay will be sadly missed by her children Jesse James Knott and Timothy Ryan Knott; grandson Jacob James Knott; siblings: Carole Schwendeman, Lenny, Kathy (Claude), Irene, Karen (Fred), Ann (Wayne), Allen, Faye (Rex), Nicole (Kyle), and Chris (Lauralee); Leslie Munch; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by her father Fred Knott; mother Evelyn Knott; step-dad Dan Belcourt; and brothers Eddie Knott and Ray Knott.
A private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021, at 2:00pm. A Livestream of the service will be available to view on Fay’s obituary page on Oliver’s Funeral Home website prior to the start of the service.
