Culvert replacement to close part of Range Road 51 starting March 19

A section of Range Road 51 will be closed until further notice, as a culvert is replaced between Township Roads 712 and 714 east of Grande Prairie.
The County of Grande Prairie says Township Road 712 and most of Range Road 51 will be accessible to local traffic throughout construction, except for the section of Range Road 51 between the subdivisions of Autumn Wood Estates and Meadow Brook Estates. It will be closed entirely while the work is done.
Drivers are advised to detour around the closure using Township Road 714 and Range Road 55.
No timeline for when the work will be completed has been announced.
