Grande Prairie RCMP arrest man in connection to 2013 homicide

Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested and charged 57-year-old Paul Tamasi in relation to the 2013 death of Karen Jordan, who he was married to at the time.

Jordan was initially reported missing to the RCMP in 2016, and investigators from the Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigation Section and Alberta RCMP Serious Crimes Branch began a multi-year investigation into her disappearance and presumed death.

Evidence collected during the investigation suggested that Jordan was last seen in the company of Tamasi in November 2013.

In September 2020, Jordan’s remains were discovered during ground searches in the Wembley area by investigators, information which was not made public at the time by authorities.
