ATB Financial closes Grande Prairie Southview branch

ATB Financial says it will be permanently closing its Southview branch location in Grande Prairie, on Kateri Drive, as of Friday, March 26.
The Grande Prairie branch is one of ten locations across Alberta that will be shutting its doors on Friday. Five locations in Calgary and four in Edmonton will also close for good.
According to the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) in a statement issued January 21, one employee in Grande Prairie will be laid off, while another employee at the location will be redeployed.
ATB still has two locations in Grande Prairie, including Westview (9907 106A St.) and Northview (11507 99 St).
