UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP arrest suspect in indecent exposure incidents

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP have arrested a 19-year-old city man in relation to their investigation into several recent reports of indecent exposure acts over the last month in the city.

Charges are pending and police say an update will be provided when more information is available.

Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in several indecent act incidents around Grande Prairie over the last month.

Between March 15 and April 8, Grande Prairie RCMP say they received eight complaints of a male suspect committing indecent acts around the city, primarily in the Muskoseepi Park and Ranchlands area.

In all but one of the incidents, the suspect approached lone females and exposed himself in an indecent manner, while soliciting them to engage in indecent acts.

The suspect is described as being 18-25 years old, standing between 5’3’’ and 5’10’’ tall, with a skinny build and dark hair.

Police say he may possibly be wearing a white or black hoodie and black pants

Police say they have been actively investigating in an attempt to identify the suspect responsible.
