Resident feedback sought on design of Crystal Lake bike park
The City of Grande Prairie is seeking suggestions and feedback from residents of all ages about what they would like to see as part of the new bike skills park set to be built at Crystal Lake Park later this year.
The survey is comprised of three parts, including:
- A presentation of preliminary design concepts based on industry trends, feedback from the project team, and the physical and environmental properties of the site
- Multiple choice questions regarding demographics, riding experience and riding preferences
- Ranking and multiple choice questions on the park features and elements
The city says this park on the city’s northside is meant to complement the existing bike park at South Bear Creek, and will likely house some similar biking features, including dirt jumps, pumptracks, rocks and wooden bridges.
